وَلَوۡ أَنَّا كَتَبۡنَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ أَنِ ٱقۡتُلُوٓاْ أَنفُسَكُمۡ أَوِ ٱخۡرُجُواْ مِن دِيَٰرِكُم مَّا فَعَلُوهُ إِلَّا قَلِيلٞ مِّنۡهُمۡۖ وَلَوۡ أَنَّهُمۡ فَعَلُواْ مَا يُوعَظُونَ بِهِۦ لَكَانَ خَيۡرٗا لَّهُمۡ وَأَشَدَّ تَثۡبِيتٗا
اور اگر ہم ان پر فرض کردیتے کہ اپنی (ہی) جانوں کو قتل کر ڈالو یا اپنے گھروں سے نکل جاؤ تو ا ن میں سے بہت تھوڑے سے لوگ اس پر عمل کرتے اور اگر یہ لوگ جس کی انہیں نصیحت کی جاتی ہے اس پر عمل کرلیتے تو ان کے لیے بہت بہتر ہوتا اور (انہیں دین میں) ثابت قدم رکھنے والا بھی۔(۶۶)
